So my boo got this for me for my birthday

The story behind this bag

My boo moved into a new house with some guy friends

and we found a shed full out antique treasures

i spotted it right away

and said i want this for my birthday

he said

"i think i can handle that"

:)

even better story

he thinks the bag is ugly

then i went to the MN state fair and they were selling this print 

in purses, clutches, shoulder bags and more

boo ya

i know good prints :)

The drink of the moment: Pumpkin Chai

I would like to blame/thank my wonderful friend

* i say blame because now i want this drink constantly

She blogged about this and i didn't even know Starbucks had this

i went to work late just so i could go get one haha

I would emphasize the PUMPKIN and the CHAI part 

so they don't make a Pumpkin Chai Latte

Fall Activities: Baked Apples

When i stumbled across this recipe a few nights ago

it was extremely hard to resist the urge to jump out of bed and make them immediately

Baked Apples with Brown Sugar inside!

I have had the slices of apples baked at Cracker Barrel 

but never cooked this way

Super easy to do!

1) Pick out your pretty apples

2) Core the apple or cut out a little hole

3) Mix the brown sugar in (You can add raisin, pecans, oatmeal)

4) Add a little dab of butter on top of each one

5) Cook in oven for 30-40 minutes, until soft not mushy.

(put 3/4 cup of boiling water in pan with apples 

and pour over apples after you have finished baking

 for more nummy juice)

Im no Betty Crocker but i am determined to make some fall/holiday treats this year!

The weather in Louisiana has dropped

to 

82 degrees

and yes

i pulled out a scarf

I was raised in Minneapolis, MN

and i am wondering 

perhaps my body is used to the changing off seasons so much

that it doesn't care if it is 80 degrees

it is supposed to be FALL

and i will wear a scarf!

Fall activities: Center piece

So in the journey of becoming Susie Home maker

i have decided i should jazz up my table with a fall inspired center piece

Here is how it happened:

Little  94 cent flowers

Fall-ish smelling candles $10

- Pumpkin Spice

- Hazelnut cream

- Warm Vanilla

Strange shaped glass bowl $4

Cut Flowers

arrange around candles!

This is what i'm doing today:- Walmart run for some fall decorating supplies- Picking up my favorite panini from a brick oven pizza place in town. The sandwich is an explosion of flavors and goodness, so many nummy veggies

- Outdoor Picnic with the boo- Work tonight: Be nice to pizza delivery girls
